John is dedicated and visionary Director of Photography with a passion for capturing the underwater world in an artistic and unique manner.  He has traveled the globe using his artistic flair to orchestrate visual narratives that capture the incredible underwater world in some of the most incredible locations. He particularly enjoys capturing stunning images of large pelagic marine life such as sharks, cetaceans, and manta rays.  He combines the beauty of nature with the raw human element.  He has a proven track record of working with scientific and conservation expeditions to provide the highest quality content for the mission, focused on quality story telling.  Whether he's shooting underwater volcanoes, storms, sharks, whales, fast moving boats or models John is calm and professional in any situation.        

His flair for pushing creative boundaries has led him to work with leading brands and researchers in the ocean, science, and adventure industry.  Dedicated to using his skills and compelling imagery to be an advocate for the conservation of marine ecosystems.  John is a freediving instructor and an advanced scuba diver and is well versed shooting in both realms.
